A garden design is sometimes implemented in phases depending upon season and / or budget. In this Somerset garden there was only just time in the spring to prepare beds and plant some bare root hedging. My clients have been experimenting with mowing patterns to introduce interest and a sense of division of space, such a quick and easy way of livening up a space! This summer the plan is being followed with beds being dug and prepared ready for planting in the autumn.
