A great week of weaving ‘deer on the lawn’ at Downs School. I worked with years 4, 5, 6 and 7 over two and a half days, we wove our own frames for the animals and the pupils were responsible for thinking about proportion and shape whilst concentrating on weaving for strength.

Festival decorations – Priddy
Two days working in a Priddy’s tiny school to make decorations for the marquees at Priddy Folk Festival next week. Previously I have worked at the festival making willow fish but these two days involved all the pupils making willow flowers as well as colourful tissue paper and willow flowers.
