What a fun ‘Garden Gurus’ team at Glastonbury FM! Tess came out to interview me on site planting trees in my new cider orchard, it was a very wild and windy day and one friend aptly describing it as ‘blowing a hooley’. Despite the hooley Tess managed to catch most of what I had to say about the subsoiling, the short hardwood stakes, the mychorriza fungi, the rootstocks, my reasons for choosing the new cider varieties… However I was invited to the studio for a followup interview where I gave my views and tips on adding structure to your garden – a tiny studio with enthusiastic staff, there was a lot of laughter and it was a delightful end to the day.
